A Regional Three-day Event Designed to Answer the Toughest Questions Facing Industry Leaders Today
Siemens announced today that it will be hosting its third Answers for Industry (AFI) Event in Minneapolis, Minn. The event will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center Oct. 20-22, 2009.
These no cost events are designed for manufacturers, engineers, OEMs, integrators and end users. The event offers seminars, hands-on technology demonstrations, networking and best practice sharing to help attendees answer the toughest questions facing their industries today including productivity improvements, energy efficiency and flexibility on the plant floor and in the office.
In Minneapolis, attendees will be able to customize their own agenda by choosing from more than 35 seminars given by industry experts on food and beverage production, packaging, industrial energy management, ultra-efficient motors and drives, emissions monitoring, process safety, water and wastewater treatment solutions and more. Additionally, ARC Analyst John Blanchard will conduct a seminar on understanding industry trends.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees will also have a chance to visit the Siemens Product Showcase, a 14,000 square foot technology exhibit where they can experience the latest in Siemens products, systems and solutions in an informal, hands-on environment. Siemens technology experts, partners, distributors and senior executives will also be on hand to discuss how they can employ Siemens solutions for their specific applications to help increase productivity, reduce costs and strengthen competitiveness.
